Happy Easter!

Happy Easter from our Family!

I think this picture sums up my family and all of our personalities completely.
Both kids were super excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought them this morning. This is one of my favorites parts of being a mom...
Ethan was loving hunting for the Easter eggs... he got pretty good at throwing them in his basket!
The boys - going through all their treats (the best part was that I got to confiscate all of Ethan's candy for myself)!!
My grandma thought she had found something really cool for the kids: Colored bubbles. We had no idea what Cohen and his cousins actually decided to do with them until we went outside to check on them....
No sense in getting mad... The kids were having fun! But, they did have to rinse off outside before they were allowed to step foot back in the house (with gramma's help of course - since we made it clear that we blamed her completely! haha).

Earth Day!

Happy Earth Day! We spent a good part of the afternoon today outside... Cohen was DYING to ride his dirtbike (electric of course) and both kids (& me too) needed a little vitamin D. We are loving the sunny weather and are counting down the days til summer: boating, river, fun in the sun!

My So-Called Life.

Spring is in full gear around our sleepy little town and yesterday was the perfect example.

So, I have come to terms that for the next month, my Saturdays will be devoted to being the typical baseball mom. I have been waiting for this moment for years! There is no prouder moment than seeing your son up there hitting the ball (with NO tee!).

Of course, there's always a little give and take. You can't expect a 5 year old to play some good ball without a little bit of goofing off in the dugout!

Ethan was there cheering on his big bro! He was so happy throughout the whole game - even during the sudden dust storm that we had to suffer through.

After the game, we had to go back home so I could get ready for much needed, long awaited, fun night out with friends!

Of course, no night out is complete without a couple of sexually explicitly named shots!

My aunt (who everyone thinks is my mom - I mean, she pretty much is) was my hot date of the night. Apparently, we keep her feeling young! She's such a Cougar.

But... everyone knows that no night out is complete without a midnight snack of ice cream and wine!

I got a little worried as we were leaving the store... Marley got lost... AGAIN. I finally found her in the cooler. I had to explain to her that she was HOT not ice cold. Hopefully that kind of confusion won't happen again...

Just another typical day in my life... I mean, this IS normal for a baseball mom... right.......? Right.

Photo-Genic.

So excited! I received my new camera in the mail today... My little baby Canon SLR. Yup. This mama is going big-time. Of course, I couldn't wait to get my hands on her as soon as I opened the box so I grabbed the closest, cutest subject matter I could get my hands on... Mr. E baby! The pics I got weren't ideal as it was bedtime and we were indoors so I had to use the flash (yuck) but it was still fun to mess around! It's so much fun to be on the photographer side of the camera after spending so many years in front of it.

Playdates ♥

It's beginning to feel a lot like SPRING around here which means lots of time spent outside for the boys (FINALLY)!!! Today we had an awesome playdate with Brooklynn and the twins: Liam & Bristol. The kids had such a blast playing on the trampoline and running around the yard. Cohen and Brooklynn finally got to see each other again (they hadn't seen each other since they modeled together back in January in the Northwest Premiere Bridal Show)and they are still just as adorable together - even though they wouldn't let me take ANY pictures of them! Ethan and Miss Bristol were inseparable and equally adorable. While the kids had their fun, mommy finally got to catch up with Missy and get some much needed adult face time. FABULOUS day.
